Dhirubhai ambani Auditorium was built in the campus of Daly college school Indore. The institute has its very identity rooted in heritage and also a very strong context to respond. So, in response the process of designing was like solving a rubik's cube puzzle. The selection of elements, textures, masses was to have the connection with the past on one face and belonging to the present on another. The exterior of the auditorium is not just a duplication of existing architecture but stands for times it has been built in, and for the technology oriented function it houses. Precast RCC bands at various levels enhance the definition of built form. Play of light on solids, on voids, exposed bricks, glass surfaces, arched openings and pergola render life to the buildings
